Published TRU Home Prices Make the Comparison More Interesting

Clayton Homes of Burleson has been especially aggressive with TRU manufactured home pricing in Texas.

The dealership previously published a statewide review stating that, based on the publicly available pricing it examined as of August 25, 2026, Burleson had the lowest published home-only price it found on all 15 TRU models included in its comparison.

That claim should be understood carefully.

Manufactured home prices can change quickly, and dealers may structure prices differently. A home-only price does not necessarily include transportation, installation, air conditioning, foundations, decks, skirting, site preparation, permits, taxes or other costs required to complete a project.

Still, the breadth of the pricing claim is unusual.

The dealership's current website continues that strategy. For example, its inventory has advertised homes such as the TRU Buttercup and TRU Redwood with descriptions identifying them as the “Lowest Price in Texas.”
